Tris-Glycine-SDS Powder

Applications:

  • Used as a Buffer for SDS-Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis

Preparation

Dissolve 1 package in distilled water to make up a total volume of 500 mL. This will give a 50 mM solution at pH 8.3.

Storage:

Store dry at room temperature. After rehydration, seal tightly and store at 4°C.

Kit Components:

One package (for 500 mL) contains:

Tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane 3.0 g
Glycine 14.4 g
Sodium dodecyl sulfate 0.5 g
